To add a custom icon and splash screen to your app you'll need to provide graphical assets in various sizes. Follow the specifications below and name the files exactly as written in bold type.


Please place all Android assets in a single folder called "Android", all iOS assets in a single folder called "iOS", and all the Windows assets in a single folder called "Windows".


Zip archive the folders and attach them to a new support ticket or send directly to your client engagement partner. Include your app name in the subject field. An AppGlu support member will contact you with next steps.

The names listed before the "/" are folders.
For example, you should create a folder called "drawable" and include the files called "icon.png" in it and "splash.png" in it.

The names listed before the "/" are folders. So as an example, you should create a folder called "drawable" and include the files called "icon.png" in it and "splash.9.png" in it. Also, the splash screens should need to be created as 9-patch format so they stretch appropriately on the device sizes. You may need to simplify your splash screen design to avoid using gradients or other designs that will be distorted if they stretch. Follow these instructions to create 9-patch versions, which include a link to the Draw 9-patch tool to help create them.
